OUR NEXT FULLY STAGED PRODUCTION
26 - 29 February 2020 at 7.45pm
The Wilde Theatre
South Hill Park
Our next fully staged opera is Tchaikovsky’s heartbreakingly beautiful masterpiece. Tatyana’s quiet existence
is turned upside down with the arrival of the handsome and charismatic Onegin. He arrogantly rejects her romantic fantasies,
but years later they are reunited for one final, explosive encounter.
Tchaikovsky’s soaring score is the most radiant of Russian lyric operas. Passionate and expressive, it captures perfectly the youthful
despair and longing of Pushkin’s masterpiece.
Fully staged and sung in English with orchestra.
